  1. Measure voltage between the ELD 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2.

ELD 3P CONNECTOR

Wire side of female terminals

Is there battery voltage?

YES

- Go to step 12.

NO

- Go to step 13.


  1. Measure voltage between ELD 3P connector terminal No. 3 and body ground.

ELD 3P CONNECTOR

Wire side of female terminals

Is there about 5 V?

YES

- Replace the under-hood fuse/relay box.

NO

- Check for an open or short in the wire between the ECM/PCM (E15) and the ELD. If the wire is OK, substitute a known-good ECM/PCM and recheck. If symptom/indication goes away, replace the original ECM/PCM.


  1. Measure voltage between the ELD 3P connector terminal No. 1 and body ground.

Is there battery voltage?

YES

- Repair open in the wire between the ELD and G201.

NO

- Check the No. 4 ACG (10A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box. If the fuse is OK, repair open in the wire between No. 4 ACG (10A) fuse in the ELD.
