DTC P0563: ECM/PCM Power Source Circuit Unexpected Voltage

  1. Reset the ECM/PCM (see page 11-312).
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  3. Wait 5 seconds.
  4. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).

Is DTC P0563 indicated?

YES

- Go to step 5.

NO

- Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires at the No. 6 ECU (ECM/PCM) (15 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box and at the ECM/PCM.

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect ECM/PCM connector E (31P).
  3. Measure voltage between ECM/PCM connector terminal E7 and body ground.
