Move the latch (A) through the gap between the rear lower channel (B) and door, then remove it. Install the latch in the reverse order of removal and note these items: Make sure the connector(s) is plugged in properly and each rod is connected securely. Make sure the door locks and opens properly.

NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands. Remove these items: Door panel (see page 20-152) Plastic cover, as necessary (see page 20-142) Rear pillar trim (see page 20-160) Carefully move the glass (A) until you can see the bolts, then remove them.
