  1. Install the seat belt and buckles in the reverse order of removal and note these items:
  • With centre shoulder belt: If the threads on the retractor mounting self-tapping ET screw are worn out, use an oversized self-tapping ET screw made specifically for this application.
  • With centre shoulder belt: Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions (see page 23-11).
  • Assemble the washers on the centre anchor bolt as shown.
  • Before installing the centre anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the centre belt.

Centre anchor bolt construction:

  1. WASHER
  2. CENTRE ANCHOR BOLT
  3. TOOTHED LOCK WASHER
  4. CENTRE ANCHOR
