Disconnect the D1o connector (A), P1o connector (B) and TL1o connector (C).

Disconnect the U1o connector (A) from the SRS unit (B). Disconnect the special tool (2 ohm) from the T2i connector. Check resistance between the No. 9 terminal and the No. 18 terminal of the U1o connector. There should be 1 M ohm or more. U1o CONNECTOR Wire side of female terminals Is the resistance as specified? YES - Faulty SRS unit; replace the SRS unit (see page 23-176). NO - Short in dashboard wire harness B; replace dashboard wire harness B.
