Valve Clearance Adjustment (cont'd)

 6-16 Crankshaft Pulley Removal and Installation

  1. Rotate the crankshaft 180o counter-clockwise to bring No. 2 piston to TDC. The ''UP'' mark (A) should be on the intake side of the head.

  1. Check and if necessary, adjust the valve clearance on No. 2 cylinder.
  2. Install the cylinder head cover (see page 6-55).

Special Tools Required

  • Socket, 19 mm, 07JAA-001020A
  • Handle, 07JAB-0010200
  • Pulley holder attachment, HEX 50 mm, 07JAB-0010400
  • Pulley holder attachment, HEX 50 mm, 07MAB-PY30100

Removal

  1. Hold the pulley with holder handle (A) and holder attachment (B).

With P/S:

With EPS:

  1. Remove the bolt with a 19 mm socket (C) and breaker bar.
