  1. Connect CVT drive pulley speed sensor connector.
  1. Measure the voltage between PCM connector terminals C7 and A23 or A24.

PCM CONNECTORS

Wire side of female terminals

Is there about 0-5 V?

YES - Go to step 19.

NO - Replace the CVT drive pulley speed sensor.

  1. Raise the front of the vehicle and make sure it is securely supported.
  1. Set the parking brake and block both rear wheels securely.
  2. Start the engine, then shift to position and drive the vehicle.
  3. Measure the voltage between PCM connector terminals C7 and A23 or A24.

PCM CONNECTORS

Is there 1.5-3.5 V?

YES - Check for loose terminal fit in the PCM connectors. If necessary, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck.

NO - Replace the CVT drive pulley speed sensor.
