Steering Gearbox Removal

  1. Above the steering gearbox, remove the feed line clamp (A).

  1. Disconnect the feed line (A) and return line (B) from the valve body unit.
  1. Remove the cotter pin (A) from the 10 mm nut (B) and loosen the nut.
  1. Separate the tie-rod ball joint and damper steering arm using the special tool (see page 18-9).

  1. Under the steering gearbox, remove the return hose clamp.
