NOTE: RHD type is shown, LHD type is symmetrical. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Remove the air cleaner (A) and resonator (B). For RHD models only: under the hood, remove the clamps of the brake booster vacuum line (A) and brake lines (B) on the bulkhead. Remove the engine wire harness (C) from the harness bracket.

Open the heater valve cable clamp (A), and disconnect the heater valve cable (B). Remove the heater valve (C) from the bulkhead and move it aside. Disconnect the motor 2P connector (A) and EPS wire harness 6P connector (B) by removing the connector stay (C) on the gearbox housing. Remove the motor 2P connector from the connector stay.
