NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel (see page 20-209). On inside the tailgate, remove the bolts securing the rear license trim (A) and tailgate lock cylinder (B). Fastener Locations : Bolt, 2

From inside the tailgate, release the clips (A, B) while holding the rear license trim (C), then remove the trim. Take care not to scratch the tailgate. Fastener Locations A : Clip, 2 B : Clip, 2 Install the trim in the reverse order of removal and replace any damaged clips.
